At iKare Innovation, we believe that the best way to predict the future is to build it. Recently, Women in Tech Israel, directed by our CEO Anne Baer, partnered with Google and KPMG to host a hands-on AI Workshop designed specifically for female developers and tech professionals.
While there is plenty of talk about AI, this event was about action: upskilling, technical training, and practical implementation.
Beyond the Hype: Practical Upskilling
The AI revolution is moving at a breakneck pace. What we learned yesterday is often old news today. For many women in tech, the challenge isn't just understanding AI, but finding the time and resources to master the tools while managing existing roles.
As board member Keren Fanan noted in a recent CTech interview, "No one is going to give you six months paid leave to learn AI. You will have to do it while you're doing other stuff." This workshop was designed to meet that need—providing a concentrated environment for developers to gain the technical literacy required to lead in their organizations.
Why This Hands-On Training Matters
AI is uniquely accessible. It allows non-developers to bridge the gap into engineering and enables developers to become "AI champions" within their companies. However, for this technology to be truly balanced and responsible, women must be the ones defining the data sets and defining the algorithms.
Anne Baer highlights the urgency: "We need to catch it at the start… to be positioned as entrepreneurs, to be among the co-founders, and to be in the purely technological and managerial positions."

The Skills of 2030
The workshop didn't just focus on the "how" of coding, but on the skills that make AI development ethical and effective. Drawing on World Economic Forum research, the curriculum leaned into:
Analytical and Creative Thinking: Tackling complex problems with new AI-driven processes.
Technological Literacy: Moving beyond the surface to understand the "machine" itself.
Resilience and Agility: Adapting to tools that evolve weekly.
iKare’s Commitment to Technical Leadership
By supporting these technical training initiatives, iKare Innovation is helping to ensure that the gender gap isn't just narrowed, it’s reset. When women hold technological and managerial positions, they become less replaceable and more influential in shaping how AI will govern our future.
The race is equal. Everyone can now claim a leadership position. Our goal is to make sure women are at the front of that line.
