Paris Motor Show 2024: Israeli Automotive Delegation led by iKare Innovation and EcoMotion
The EcoMotion-iKare innovation Israeli startup delegation made a remarkable showing at the Paris Motor Show-Mondial de l'Auto this month (Oct 14-20), securing 2 out of 4 top prizes in the 2024 Mondial de l’Auto - Paris startup competition! And with two more companies recognized as finalists.

"Israeli start-up companies won in various categories during the Paris Startup Competition which was held at the International Motor Show in Paris. As part of the international automobile exhibition in Paris, Mondial de l'Auto held this week, the Paris Startup Competition was held, during which four Israeli startups were selected from more than 90 candidates from around the world who reached the final stage.
Two of them, Ottopia and Re-Fresh Global, won in different categories and an impressive achievement was recorded for the Israeli smart transportation industry. The Israeli startup delegation, organized by EcoMotion - a joint initiative of the Israel Institute for Innovation, the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Transport - and iKare Innovation, was designed to represent the Israeli ecosystem and included high-level B2B meetings with executives from the French automotive industry.
Among the winners of the competition, Ottopia is a leader in remote control solutions for autonomous vehicles. The company was selected in the "most innovative service proposal" category and is even developing technology for the reliable and safe operation of autonomous cars. In addition, the company Re-Fresh Global, which specializes in the recycling of advanced materials in the automotive industry, was selected in the "best solution for circular and green mobility" category.
Furthermore, two other Israeli startups - SolidT, which develops a distributed temperature control system designed for components such as batteries and Voltcore, a technology company specializing in the creation of heating materials - reached the final stage of the competition. This impressive achievement proves the research, development and creative thinking capabilities of the Israeli automotive industry in the international arena.

Only in the first half of 2024, investments in the field of transportation were made in Israel in the total amount of over 520 million dollars, in 42 transactions, when most of the funds were directed to companies in early stages such as Pre-seed and Seed."
